The Challenge
A big reset for Star’s night of the year
After a two-year break, our longstanding client Star Academies were ready to relaunch the Star Awards, their annual night of recognition for pupils and staff.
Ahead of the relaunch, and with the trust in our team already cemented in place, our designers were tasked with reimagining the event’s branding to be full of fresh energy, optimism and celebration, yet still match the prestige of their flagship event.

The Solution
Designs to reflect every part of the Star family
Building the new event identity meant beginning with Star’s already established logo, using their signature bright pink as the base.
To reflect the wider trust and really run with the theme, we added coloured stars pulled from each individual school’s brand – and a scattering of small pink stars representing every pupil. A celebration of the whole Star community was important, down to the very last detail.

The Outcome
A vibrant rebrand celebrating unity, pride and progress
The new Star Awards branding injected the vibrancy and shared ambition the event needed, helped set the tone for the night and creating the feeling of bright futures ahead. The new look was professional, yet modern enough to carry through many more awards evenings to come.
Each touchpoint was carefully designed by us to fit the new look closely; immersing attendees in the full Star experience from beginning to end. From the first certificate design to the final photo we snapped on the evening, every detail worked together to create long-lasting memories of pride and impact for everyone involved.
